Walking Trails

Uniacke Estate Museum Park - Seven trails, most are wheelchair accessible. Features forest trails, lakes and a variety of plants and wildlife.
Bell Park (Mount Uniacke) - Open year round. Historic 55-acre Nature Park with more than two km of signed trails. Off Highway 101 take exit 3 and turn left toward Windsor. Contact Gerry Leslie for more information at (902) 866-0144.
Haliburton House Walking Trails - One km of walking trails through meadows, forest, ponds and hayfields. Enter on Clifton Avenue in Windsor.
McDucomo Farms Ltd. - 5619 Hwy 236 near Kennetcook. Eight km of trail through award winning managed forest, adjacent to wetlands. Accessible to many motorized wheelchairs. By appointment only. (902) 369-2959.
Milford Recreation Association Trails We have wooded walking trails and a wheelchair accesible trail around our pond. We will complete a wooded accessible trail in the spring/summer of 2006. We also use the trails in winter for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing.
Walking Tours of Maitland - Tour books for three self-guided tours of the Maitland area are available at Lawrence House and the Visitor Information Centre.
Trails at Daniel’s U-Pick - A one km hiking trail with a view of the countryside. Hay rides with apple cider, you-pick pumpkin & squash patch, apples, pears, plumbs and a small retail outlet. Call Phil Daniels at (902) 798-5432.
Town of Hantsport Walking Trail - This walking trail goes through the town to Fundy Centennial Park overlooking the Avon River and huge gypsum boats being loaded.
Town of Windsor Walking Tours - Guided tours of historic downtown Windsor. Tuesday to Saturday starting at 10:00 am at the Pumpkin Park, Water St. (902) 798-6679. June, July & August.
