The Chamber was established in 1986 to effectively influence any major issues which are deemed to have an impact on the economic strength, prosperity and interests of our community.

Hants County Women’s Networking

The Hants Regional Development Authority and the Women in Business Initiative joined forced to develop a survey regarding the inception of an East Hants Women in Business Networking Group, with its first function tentatively slated for Spring 2006. Windsor and area boasts a thriving group of women in business. With this in mind, the Job Resource Centre created the West Hants Women in Business group. This group provides an opportunity to share relevant business problems and solutions, network, and develop a better working relationship with like minded entrepreneurs. The West Hants Women in Business group meets on a monthly basis and any women who own their own business are invited to attend for an evening of networking, discussion, and fun.
