Minas Basin Pulp and Power Company Limited
"The facility is located just 45 minutes from the
Port of Halifax, and by road it has overnight
access to Quebec, Ontario, and New England ."

Minas Basin Pulp and Power Company Limited was incorporated in 1927 by Roy A. Jodrey and was built on the strong long-term
relationships with customers and suppliers that the company established. Today, the company still conducts its business by the same
founding philosophy that lead to its success for more than 75 years.
In 1996, the company completely modernized its facility with a new paper machine. Being one of the smaller paperboard producers in
North America, the company follows a recognized quality system and has focused on superior customer service through efficient
scheduling and short lead times. Minas Basin Pulp and Power is located 45 minutes from the Port of Halifax, and by road it has
overnight access to Quebec, Ontario, and New England.
Minas Basin Pulp and Power remains intent on protecting the environment and uses recycled corrugated containers as raw materials
to produce paperboard. The company diverts approximately 10.8 million cubic feet of waste paper from landfill sites each year.
