Hants RDA Launches Investment Attraction Strategy

A new marketing campaign launched by the Hants RDA is making the case for locating or expanding a business in Hants West.
“Businesses help grow the economy by creating jobs and contributing to the tax base,” says Hants RDA Executive Director Claude O’Hara. “Hants West has a strong business climate and we need to support our established companies to be as competitive as they can be. Attracting new businesses is equally as important, therefore we can’t be shy about sharing the competitive advantage new companies will enjoy by choosing to locate in Hants County.”
The Hants RDA commissioned a suite of marketing and communications materials from a local public relations firm, Eleanor Beaton & Company Communications. The marketing materials will provide entrepreneurs and site selectors with the information they need to better understand the local business climate. Included in the materials are: an in-depth investment intelligence profile; case studies highlighting local businesses; a brochure and marketing kit with valuable information related to the region’s demographics, economy, infrastructure and key industries.
Hants West provides a stable, skilled workforce, solid transportation infrastructure, excellent lifestyle and recreational opportunities, while the RDA’s Business Retention & Expansion Program contributes to a strong local business climate by supporting business in their quest for a sustainable competitive advantage.
“This is a tremendous place to do business,” says Jennifer Bolt, a senior business consultant at Windsor-based Red Letter Philanthropy Counsel, one of the companies featured in the marketing campaign.
The marketing materials were created with the support of the Municipality of West Hants, the Town of Windsor and the Town of Hantsport. The materials will be circulated at local, national and international tradeshows. A copy of the Investment Intelligence Profile is available online.
